Each card carries its own number and its own code: Code 128 or EAN-13 barcode, or QR code. You set a starting number and the cards are numbered in sequence, or you upload your own numbers from an Excel or CSV file. Your till or scanner reads the code just like on a PVC card.

Design
Your design, in bank card format
The design is laid out in bank card format (86 × 54 mm): your logo, your colours, a background pattern across the whole card (lines, dots, waves or diamonds), a sheen, a light effect on the logo, a gradient, and five fonts for the title. In the phone, the card opens in the Apple Wallet and Google Wallet layout, the same for every loyalty card: your colour, your logo and your design as a banner. The name and the number are displayed in the phone's own font.

Your questions about Wallet Cards
How is the card added to a phone?
The person opens your link or scans your sign-up QR code, then taps “Add to Apple Wallet” or “Add to Google Wallet”. One tap, and the card is in their phone. You can also send each person the personal link for their card.
Is there a subscription or a commitment?
No: no subscription, no commitment. You pay once for the duration you choose, no bank card is stored and nothing renews on its own. At the end, you extend only if you wish.
Which phones accept the card?
iPhones, with Apple Wallet, and Android phones, with Google Wallet. There is nothing to install: both are already in the phone.
Which codes can my till or scanner read?
You choose the code when you order: Code 128 or EAN-13 barcode, or QR code. The EAN-13 code is displayed as it is on Android and on up-to-date iPhones; on older iPhones, the same digits are displayed as a Code 128 barcode.
How are the cards numbered?
In one of two ways. You enter a starting number, and the cards are numbered in sequence. Or you supply your own numbers in an Excel or CSV file: a file template can be downloaded when you order, for each configuration.
Do I need to know each person's name in advance?
No. The cardholder name is optional: each card already has its number and its code. You add or correct the name later in your dashboard, for example after handing over the card.
What happens after I order?
After payment, we prepare your card from your design and you approve it before it goes out. You then give out your cards at your own pace, using the sign-up link or the personal links.
Can I change the card once it has been given out?
Yes. From your dashboard, you update the design or the validity date: the change is applied remotely to the cards already installed, in every phone.
What if someone loses their phone or leaves the programme?
You deactivate their card in your dashboard. The other cards in the pack do not change, and you assign an available card to whoever you like, whenever you like.
Does the card count points or stamps?
Points and stamps are counted by your till or your loyalty software, which reads the code on the card. Lumacards supplies the card to show, in your colours, with its number and its code.
What does the price include?
The pack of numbered cards for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, the preparation of your card in your colours, the code on each card, the distribution links and QR codes, the dashboard and remote updates for the period you choose: 1, 2 or 3 years. The price is paid once; nothing renews on its own.
What happens at the end of the period I chose?
Your cards stay active for the whole period you choose. After that, you extend whenever you like; nothing renews on its own and no payment card is stored. Your data is kept for twelve months.
Can I have PVC cards as well?
Yes. The matching PVC card carries the same numbers and the same data: your till reads one just like the other. Each person chooses the card in the hand, the card in the phone, or both.
