Your questions about the NFC business card
How does an NFC business card work?
The card contains an NFC chip and a QR code that open the team member's online profile. The person you meet holds their phone near the card, sees the profile and saves the full contact card with a tap.
Is there a subscription or a commitment?
No: no subscription, no commitment. You pay once for the duration you choose, no bank card is stored and nothing renews on its own. At the end, you extend only if you wish.
Which phones can read the card?
iPhones from the iPhone 7 (iOS 14) and Android phones with NFC read the chip without an app. The QR code opens with the camera, on every phone.
What happens when a team member leaves the company?
You remove their profile from your dashboard: their card then shows the company page, and you can assign it to someone else without reprinting anything.
Can each team member edit their own profile?
Yes, if you wish: you send them a personal link that lets them change their photo, job title, phone, WhatsApp and LinkedIn, without access to the rest of your dashboard.
What is the minimum number of people?
Five people, with printed cards as well as for profiles only. The price per person goes down from 10, 25, 50, 100 and 250 team members: from $40 + VAT down to $14 + VAT per person.
What does the price include?
With NFC cards, for each person: the card, printed and delivered, and their online profile, active for 2 years, which you can take to 3 years when you order. With QR code cards, the price adds together the pack of cards and the team's online profiles, for the period you choose. The total is shown before you order.
Can we have cards without an NFC chip?
Yes. QR code cards, in 350 gsm paper or PVC, carry the name of each team member and the QR code of their profile, which opens with the camera on every phone. They are ordered in packs of 100, 500 or 1,000 cards; the online profiles are added, per person.
What file do I need to supply?
Your logo or your artwork as a PDF, PNG or SVG, and for each team member their name, job title and contact details (one by one or by importing a list). We prepare the cards and send you a free proof by e-mail before printing.
What happens at the end of the period I chose?
Your cards open the profiles for 2 years, included in the price. After that, you extend whenever you like, paid once; nothing renews on its own and no payment card is stored. Your data is kept for twelve months.
