Professional gift card printing

Our standard minimum order is 100 cards. This applies to single-design runs as well as projects combining multiple finishes or encoding options. For larger seasonal campaigns or multi-reference orders, volume pricing is available — include your total quantity in the quote request and we will provide tiered pricing in our response.

A QR code links to a digital platform — the recipient scans it with their phone to access a redemption page, activate a balance or download a voucher. A scratch-off conceals a unique code that is revealed physically and then entered manually or online. QR codes suit digital-first programmes; scratch-off is preferred when a tactile reveal experience is part of the gift. Both can be combined on the same card if needed.

Yes. Variable data printing allows each card to carry a unique code, reference number, QR code or any other personalised field from your data file. To prepare a variable data project, provide a structured spreadsheet (CSV or Excel) with one row per card and one column per data field. For scratch-off projects, codes are printed beneath the scratch panel before the ink is applied.

Yes. Gift card packaging — sleeves, envelopes, folded carriers and presentation boxes — can be ordered alongside the cards and produced as a single coordinated project. Packaging significantly improves perceived value at the point of sale, particularly for premium brands and seasonal Christmas or Valentine's Day campaigns.

Hot foil stamping is the finish most associated with premium gift card positioning — it immediately signals quality and exclusivity. Spot UV varnish is an effective alternative when a more subtle tactile effect is preferred, and a matte lamination paired with a selective foil element on the logo is a strong understated-premium combination. The right choice depends on your brand guidelines and the retail context.

Each premium finish requires its own dedicated layer in the artwork file — foil zones, spot UV areas and scratch-off panels must be provided as separate 100% black layers over a CMYK base, so we can isolate them at the plate-making stage. A 300 dpi print-ready PDF or AI file with 3 mm bleed covers the standard requirements. If you are unsure how to set up finish layers, we can share a gift card template or review your working file before you finalise it.

For Christmas, Valentine's Day or Black Friday launches we recommend placing the order 3 to 4 weeks ahead — this secures proof validation, production and transit with a safety margin. Base production runs in 6 to 10 working days after proof approval; express 2 to 4 working days are available on selected configurations if you mention the deadline up front. European and UK deliveries are tracked as standard, and international dispatch can be organised on request.

Yes — a digital proof is sent before production at no extra cost. For variable data projects (unique QR codes, sequential numbering), we validate a sample card from your data file before the full print run. For foil or scratch-off projects, the proof confirms the finish zones and code placement. No production starts without your written sign-off.

Yes. Alongside print-ready file orders, two design routes are available. Brand-template adaptation — provide your logo, brand colours, face values and seasonal positioning, and we adapt an existing gift card template to your campaign. Full custom design — our designers create the gift card artwork from scratch including seasonal motifs, packaging coordination and tier variants if needed, with two revision rounds. Both options are quoted as part of the print order, with a single tailored quotation returned within 24 hours.
