How it works
A process built for teams that need their holders, lanyards and badges to arrive already matched β and ready to hand out on the day.
Tell us the badge format, quantity, attachment type (lanyard, clip, pin, reel) and event date. We confirm availability, bulk pricing and lead time.
For custom-printed lanyards and bespoke badge holders, a digital proof is sent by email for written approval before production. Stock holders are dispatched against the references confirmed in the quotation.
Holders, lanyards, reels and clips are sourced or printed, then paired and quality-checked. Kit assembly (holder + badge + lanyard) is handled on request.
Shipped in labelled bulk boxes or individual welcome-bag kits, sorted by attendee list when required, across Europe and the UK with tracked delivery.

Frequently asked questions
Practical answers for teams organising a conference, equipping new staff or refreshing a visitor-badge programme.
Our standard minimum is 100 units for plain stock holders and 250 units when the holder itself is custom-printed with a logo. Lanyards are typically produced from 100 units for sublimated flat polyester and from 200 units for woven jacquard. For smaller events or test runs, stock colours without branding are available with no minimum above 100 units.
For multi-day conferences and trade fairs, the clear vinyl sleeve in A7 (90 Γ 110 mm) or A6 (105 Γ 148 mm) format paired with a 15 mm flat polyester lanyard is by far the most common configuration. It is cost-efficient at high volume, shows the printed programme badge clearly and is designed to be discarded after the event. For permanent staff badges, the rigid transparent holder or flexible PVC pocket is preferred.
Yes, but it is not always the most efficient route. Custom-printing the holder body increases cost and minimum order significantly. In most cases the brand signature is carried by the lanyard (full-colour sublimated or jacquard woven) and by the printed badge inside the holder β the holder itself stays transparent. Custom-printed holders make sense for long-term staff programmes and VIP access badges where the same holder is used over multiple years.
Yes. Kit assembly is a common service for events and onboarding programmes: each holder is paired with a lanyard, the printed badge is inserted, and the kits are delivered sorted by attendee list, department or date. This removes one logistics step on your side β the boxes arrive ready to hand out at registration or HR welcome sessions.
Standard transparent, flexible and rigid holders work without issue with RFID, NFC and contactless smart cards β readers scan through the holder material. The only exception is holders lined with metallic films, which can shield the chip; we do not use such holders by default. For very high-frequency access environments, retractable reels are often paired with a rigid holder to accelerate scanning at gates.
A breakaway clip is a release buckle at the nape of the neck that opens automatically when pulled sideways β preventing strangulation risk if the lanyard is caught in equipment, a door or a vehicle. It is a requirement in schools, healthcare, industrial and laboratory environments, and is strongly recommended wherever staff work near moving machinery. We fit breakaways as standard on lanyards destined for these sectors.
Lead time runs 2 to 10 working days from proof approval depending on the configuration. Plain stock holders without printing dispatch faster (typically 2 to 5 working days). Custom-printed lanyards and pre-assembled event kits sit at the upper end of the range. For event deadlines we recommend placing the order at least 3 weeks before the event to allow for proof validation, production and tracked shipping. Delivery covers Europe and the UK; international dispatch is arranged on request.
Yes β though the holder itself is typically transparent or stock-coloured, the printed badge inside is fully designable. Two routes available. Template adaptation β share your event identity, attendee data structure (name, role, company, QR access code) and we adapt a conference or staff badge template to your brand. Full custom design β our in-house designers create the badge from scratch including layout, photo zones and access feature visuals. Both routes are quoted alongside the badge holder order.

Custom badge holder accessories
A printed badge is only as useful as the accessories that let it be worn, seen and scanned. Badge holders β transparent rigid shells, flexible PVC pockets, clear vinyl sleeves, and multi-card carriers β protect the badge from daily wear, hold it at eye level and keep the printed data legible across the full lifetime of the programme. Attachment mechanisms (lanyard hooks, alligator clips, safety pins, magnetic pairs, retractable reels) are selected based on the environment, the dress code and how often the badge is presented to a reader. For access-control contexts where the badge is scanned several times a day, retractable reels paired with rigid holders offer the right balance of protection, visibility and ergonomics.
Lanyards carry the branding. Flat polyester printed by sublimation is the reference for events and conferences, with full-colour edge-to-edge artwork at sensible unit costs. Woven jacquard lanyards are chosen when the texture of the brand matters and the programme is longer-term. Recycled polyester lanyards respond to sustainability positioning and public-sector tenders. Safety breakaway clips are standard for schools, healthcare and industrial environments. All holders are sized to fit ISO 7810 PVC cards produced alongside β PVC staff cards, membership cards, student cards and smart cards β so the whole badge programme ships together, matched in format and ready for first use.
