What is the difference between a static QR code and a dynamic QR code?
A static QR code contains the destination address itself: to change it, you have to reprint. A dynamic QR code leads to a Lumacards address whose destination you choose at any time, and it counts every scan.
Is there a subscription or a commitment?
No: no subscription, no commitment. You pay once for the duration you choose, no bank card is stored and nothing renews on its own. At the end, you extend only if you wish.
Does the QR code have to be printed to work?
No. It scans just as well on a screen, a presentation, a website or an e-mail signature as on a printed item. Each QR code can be downloaded as an SVG for print and as a PNG for the web.
Which statistics are available?
The number of scans per day, per country and per type of device, for each QR code. Scans are counted without IP addresses.
Which phones can read the QR code?
All recent phones, with the camera: iPhones from iOS 11 and most Android phones, directly or with Google Lens. No app to install.
How long do my QR codes stay active?
1, 2 or 3 years, depending on the period chosen when you order. After that, you extend whenever you like, paid once; nothing renews on its own and no payment card is stored. Your data is kept for twelve months.
Can I change the destination as often as I like?
Yes, as often as you like: the new destination applies as soon as you save it.
When are my QR codes available?
After payment, we create your QR codes: they appear in your dashboard, ready to be set up and downloaded, and a confirmation is sent to you by e-mail.
What file do I need to supply?
None: your QR codes are created after payment and can be downloaded from your dashboard as an SVG for your printer and as a PNG for the web. You place them on your materials, we take care of the destination and the statistics.
