Custom membership card printing

Our standard minimum order is 50 cards. This covers both uniform designs and personalised cards carrying a photo, name, member number or tier label. For organisations issuing cards in smaller batches throughout the year, we can also plan recurring production — mention it in your quote request and we will propose a schedule that fits your renewal cycle.

Yes. Photo personalisation is one of the most common requests for membership cards. Provide a structured file (CSV or Excel) with member data and a linked folder of individual photos. We check image resolution and cropping consistency before production so that every card meets the same quality standard.

RFID is the general contactless technology used at gates and turnstiles, typically with Mifare or EM standards. NFC is a short-range variant compatible with smartphones, useful for hybrid physical and digital membership systems. Magnetic stripe suits legacy swipe readers. Contact chip cards require insertion into a reader and are used for more secure authentication scenarios. The right choice depends on your existing access hardware.

Yes. Membership programmes often require distinct card designs per tier. We can print several visual variations within a single order — for example a Silver card, a Gold card with hot foil stamping and a VIP card with spot UV varnish — and deliver them organised by tier. Tier differentiation is one of the strongest levers for reinforcing perceived member value.

Standard PVC 0.76 mm is the reference for most membership programmes and comfortably handles 2 to 5 years of wallet use. For memberships exposed to more intensive handling — gyms, sports clubs, cards used daily at turnstiles — composite PVC offers higher resistance to bending, temperature and repeated flexing. Lamination (gloss or matte) further protects the print surface.

Member photos should be supplied as individual JPEG or PNG files, with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi at the final printed size (approximately 400 × 500 px for a standard card photo zone). A consistent crop — portrait orientation, shoulders included, plain background — produces the most professional result across the entire batch. Each photo file should be named after the corresponding member ID in your data file, so we can match them automatically during personalisation.

Yes. For every membership card order we prepare a digital proof at no extra cost, and for projects with variable data we go one step further: a physical or high-resolution sample card is generated using real member data (photo, name, number, tier label) so you can validate the final rendering in context. Full production only starts once you approve this sample — no cards are printed without your explicit sign-off.

Yes. For organisations distributing cards individually — annual renewals, new-member onboarding, tier upgrades — we can sort the batch by member ID, alphabetical order or tier before dispatch. We can also envelope each card separately with the member's name printed on the envelope for direct distribution at a meeting, an event or by post. Base production runs 6 to 10 working days from proof approval, with express 2-4 day windows available. Delivery covers Europe and the UK with tracked shipping, and international dispatch is arranged on request.

Yes. Two routes are available. Template adaptation — share your association or club identity, member data structure and tier hierarchy, and we adapt an existing membership card template to your brand. Full custom design — our in-house designers create the membership card from scratch including photo zones, tier variants (Standard, Gold, VIP) and access encoding visuals, with two revision rounds. Both routes are priced alongside the print order in a single tailored quotation.
