Your questions about Link Cards
What is a Link Card?
A 100% customised NFC or QR code card that opens your Lumacards page: your Google and Tripadvisor reviews, your social media and your contact buttons. The customer holds their phone near the card, or scans the code, and everything is there.
Is there a subscription or a commitment?
No: no subscription, no commitment. You pay once for the duration you choose, no bank card is stored and nothing renews on its own. At the end, you extend only if you wish.
Reviews or followers: do I have to choose?
No. The same page brings together your reviews, your social media and your buttons; you simply choose the order of the blocks, and so what your customers see first. You can change it at any time.
Which phones can read the card?
iPhones from the iPhone 7 (iOS 14) and Android phones with NFC read the chip without an app. The QR code opens with the camera, on every phone.
Can I change the links after printing?
Yes. The card leads to a Lumacards address whose content you edit from your dashboard: new review link, new social network, new offer. You reprint nothing.
What is the difference between an NFC card and a QR code card?
The NFC card opens when a phone is held near it and also carries a QR code on the back. The QR code card has no chip: it is read with the camera only, and its price is lower.
What does the price include?
Your cards, printed and delivered, and your digital card, meaning the page they open, active for 2 years and editable at any time. You can take it to 3 years when you order. Everything is included in the price shown.
What file do I need to supply?
Your logo or your artwork, as a PDF, PNG or SVG. We prepare the card and send you a free proof by e-mail; printing only starts once you have approved it.
What happens at the end of the period I chose?
Your cards open your page for 2 years, included in the price. After that, you extend whenever you like, paid once: $35 + VAT for 1 year, $59 + VAT for 2 years, $79 + VAT for 3 years. Nothing renews on its own and no payment card is stored; your data is kept for twelve months.
