Tips
What goes on a hair or beauty salon gift card
- A service or an amount : “60-minute facial”, “Cut and blow-dry” or an open amount: the service reassures the giver, the amount leaves the choice to the recipient.
- Booking appointments : Phone number or online booking link, clearly visible on the back: it is the first thing the recipient looks for.
- Validity period : Often six months or a year, shown on the back with the purchase date.
- One number per card : To identify the service purchased and prevent the same card being used twice.
- Neat handwriting : A handwritten or fine font, plenty of space: the card extends the atmosphere of your salon.

Variable data
Different on every card, always in black
Barcode, QR code, number, and for student ID cards the photo and name: this data changes from one card to the next. We print it in black, on a light area of the design, from your Excel file.
Areas to be filled in by hand (amount, name, signature) are always on a light background. On paper, you write on them directly. On PVC, this is rare: as an option, they are printed on a signature panel, like the signature strip on a bank card; otherwise we replace them with your text. Stamp cards, for their part, are printed on card.

Can we have one card per service?
Yes. Several versions (facial, massage, haircut…) can be printed in the same order, each with its own text.
Can the card match the salon’s decor?
Yes. Send us your logo, your colours and a photo of your shopfront or salon: we adapt the template to match.
How many cards should I order to start with?
From 50 cards on PVC and 100 on paper. Many salons start with a few hundred cards for the year.
Do the templates cost extra?
The template is not charged separately: adapting it to your logo and text is priced together with the printing, in your quote.
Can the colours, font or layout be changed?
Yes. We use your brand’s colours and typography. If you would like an entirely new design, say so in your request: we will quote for a bespoke design.
Can the templates be downloaded?
The templates are not available for download: we adapt them for you and send you a proof. If you already have your file, simply attach it to your request.
What is the minimum quantity?
