How a US card program is handled from Europe
Everything that decides the quality of a card program happens before the press starts: the technology, the data file and the proof. All three are settled online, in English, which is why an ocean between your office and our production changes the logistics but not the way the job is run.
Cards that match the reader you already have
The single most important question on an NFC, RFID or magnetic stripe project is what your installed reader expects. Send us that written specification, from your access control or point-of-sale provider, and we encode to it. We work from the specification and the data file you supply, never from a card you already hold.
Your data file, checked before anything prints
Names, photos, member numbers, barcode values: a simple spreadsheet is enough, one row per card. We check the file for duplicates, missing fields, accents and photo resolution, and send you back anything that would print badly, so you are not discovering it on a pallet of finished cards.
A digital proof approved remotely
You receive a digital proof showing both sides of the card, the finish and a sample of the variable data. Nothing is produced until you approve it in writing, from your desk in the United States. The artwork, the data mapping and the encoding parameters are locked at that moment.
Time zones that work in your favor
Europe runs several hours ahead of the US time zones. A question sent at the end of your working day is typically picked up while you sleep, and the answer, the revised proof or the tracking update is waiting when you open your inbox the next morning.
One production line, one consistent color

Can you quote and invoice in US dollars?
Yes. Your quote is issued in US dollars or in euros, whichever you prefer, and the invoice follows the currency of the accepted quote. Because a delivery to the United States is an export outside the European Union, the invoice is issued free of European VAT. Payment is made by card or by bank transfer.
Who pays customs duties and import taxes?
Nothing on that subject is left for later. The customs duties and import taxes applicable on entry into the United States are stated on your quote, before any order is placed, so you know what the program costs you landed and not just at the factory gate. Your shipment travels with the commercial invoice and the customs documentation required for clearance.
What is the minimum order?
One hundred cards. Below that, the setup of the artwork, the variable data and the encoding weighs more than the run itself. Above it, the unit price comes down as the quantity goes up, and a single quote can compare several quantities so you can pick your tier before committing.
Will NFC or magnetic stripe cards work with our existing readers in the United States?
They will if we are given the specification your system expects: chip family, memory layout, key or sector structure for NFC and RFID, track layout and encoding format for magnetic stripe. Your access control or point-of-sale provider can supply that in writing. We encode from the specification and the data file you provide, and we do not analyze or copy a card you already hold.
How is our cardholder data handled?
Your personalization file is used only to produce your order, handled within the European Union under the GDPR framework, and deleted once the order has been delivered. It is never used for anything else and never passed on. A written data processing agreement can be added to your file on request.
Do we see a proof before anything is printed?
Always. You receive a digital proof showing both sides of the card, the finish and a sample of the variable data, and production starts only after you approve it in writing. The approval happens by email or from your customer area, so the distance between your office and our production line changes nothing to this step.
How are the cards shipped and tracked?
Cards are printed in Europe and shipped by international express carrier with tracking to the address stated on your quote: head office, store, campus, warehouse or event venue. The tracking number is sent to you at dispatch and follows the shipment through customs clearance to final delivery.
Can we reorder the same cards later?
Yes. Your approved artwork, encoding specification and numbering range are kept on file, so a reorder starts from the same reference instead of a blank page. Reorders are requested from your customer area, which also holds your quotes, proofs and invoices, and the numbering can continue where the previous run stopped.
