Tips
Choosing the right loyalty card
- Stamp or points : stamps for a simple offer (“the 10th is free”), with no equipment at all; points with a barcode if your till can handle them.
- A clear reward : written out in full on the card, it makes people want to come back.
- Boxes that are big enough : at least 13 mm, so that a standard stamp fits without overflowing.
- Card for stamps, PVC for points : stamp ink takes well on card; the points card, with its black barcode, can be PVC.
- Wallet size : 85 × 54 mm, the size of a credit card.

Variable data
Different on every card, always in black
Barcode, QR code, number, and for student ID cards the photo and name: this data changes from one card to the next. We print it in black, on a light area of the design, from your Excel file.
Areas to be filled in by hand (amount, name, signature) are always on a light background. On paper, you write on them directly. On PVC, this is rare: as an option, they are printed on a signature panel, like the signature strip on a bank card; otherwise we replace them with your text. Stamp cards, for their part, are printed on card.
Materials
PVC or paper?
- Card stock for stamps : boxes of at least 13 mm for a standard stamp, with no code or variable data. Stamp loyalty cards

Your questions about loyalty card templates
Do points cards need software?
For a points card, your till or loyalty software reads the barcode or QR code. For a stamp card, no equipment is needed.
Are stamp cards available in PVC?
No: stamp cards are printed on card, with stamp boxes of at least 13 mm. On PVC, choose a points card with a barcode or QR code.
Can the card also exist on the phone?
Yes: the same card can have its digital version in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. See the digital loyalty card.
Do the templates cost extra?
The template is not charged separately: adapting it to your logo and text is priced together with the printing, in your quote.
Can the colours, font or layout be changed?
Yes. We use your brand’s colours and typography. If you would like an entirely new design, say so in your request: we will quote for a bespoke design.
Can the templates be downloaded?
The templates are not available for download: we adapt them for you and send you a proof. If you already have your file, simply attach it to your request.
What is the minimum quantity?
From 50 cards on PVC and 100 cards on paper.
Why is the QR code or barcode in black?
This is variable data, different on every card: it is printed in black, on a light area, so that it stays sharp and readable by scanners. A visible number can be added on request.
What is the lead time?
6 to 10 working days of production after proof approval, then delivery. For a specific date, state it in your request.
